Does anyone else see the hand of Satan in this conspiracy against William Schryver? No? Well then, how about the Knights Templar or those former proponents of the ERA?

We can certainly dismiss the preposterous notion that this game changing information, to be published, had the potential to call the academic integrity of the Maxwell Institute into question.

I wonder if William will be one of the first who are called to live polygamy, under the new paradigm?

Who owns the manuscript?

Why doesn't the owner just publish it?

It would seem the masculine thing to do.
"And the human knew the source of life, the woman of him, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, 'I have procreated a man with Yahweh.'" Gen. 4:1, interior quote translated by D. Bokovoy.

I am not a pro here, but I would assume Schryvers's Book of Abraham stuff wasn't published because Bradford wanted something scholarly he could put out without having BYU's ancient studies being ridiculed by the legit scientific community. Instead, he was presented with a document that reads like some kind of Dan Brown fan fiction piece.

I doubt we will ever know why it wasn't published. No matter how defamatory and nuts Will may get, Dr. Bradford will probably remain professional and gentlemanly enough not to embarrass Will in public.

This assumes it's written. Is this like the 2nd Watson letter... no one's seen it? Or like the Smith 100+ essay? No one's seen it? or the revelation that restored the higher priesthood? no one's see it either.

I sure as hell hope it is written and that it is at least a respectable attempt at doing *something* worthwhile.

As much as I dislike Will, I really don't relish the idea of him being further embarrassed, even if he is bound and determined to blow his own foot off with a bazooka.

This is the equivalent of little Will jumping up and down in his short pants yelling...

Bob Loblaw wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Will blamed Brian Hauglid (and possibly David Bokovoy) for killing his Book of Abraham stuff.

That's correct. William's excuses are re-written as necessary to match whatever his emotional needs happen to be at the moment.
