Wow...that's very touching. Your wife is a lucky woman and it sounds like that goes both ways.
I know many very good, active members of the church for whom I have a great deal of love and respect. They do the right things for the right reasons....and not because they are Mormons but because they are just good, decent human beings.
I don't know a lot of people on here....but I have to agree with all those who've been mentioned above just from having read their excellent posts and insights.
The little kids who, in an effort to be super reverent, squeeze their eyes shut as tight as they can, bow their heads and fold their arms tight.
Being a Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction -Pope Benedict XVI
John Dehlin, Joanna Brooks, Brian Johnson, MnG, Wayfarer, Garen Thatcher, Glenn Ostlund.
I will also include Mike Tannahill...just for the hell of it.

Beer makes you feel the way you ought to feel without beer. -- Henry Lawson
BDawg, HiJolly, Bydor, Mercy N Grace, Mr Bokovoy, Garden Girl and Jason Bourne.
This sounds like an excellent group, although I am not acquainted with BDawg and can't quite remember Bydor. Hope HiJolly will be front and center when they show the Choir this Saturday. Shots of David Bokovoy cooking up a pork butt would make for an mouth watering segment with Anthony Bourdain on the Travel Channel. That would inspire more baptisms than a fireside with Mitt, unless he was grilling Glenn Beck.
I don't suppose we can really discuss Katherine Heigl as the face of Mormonism, but hers would be a pretty one.

That sounds like a trade agreement that a plastic surgeon might make with a tattoo artist.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Ceeboo, You sure know how to make a gal feel special ;)
Topping my list would be my parents. They are unconditional love and selfless service incarnate.
