I have noticed that as well. It seems like he is always on the defensive. He has seemed to have a chip on his shoulder ever since his interview during the PBS documentary, "The Mormons".
He did seem to be at least slightly less testy than he was during his Book of Mormon talk.
I'm so relieved to no longer occupy the middle ground. It's such a pain in the ass to be trying to do your best to stay in the church (for whatever reason) while the leadership is carefully cultivating an increasingly-judgmental environment all around you.

Yeah, I actually thought the talk was going OK (other than Holland's weird interpretations) and then quite suddenly he veered into loyalty and an almost explicit attack on NOMs. When he said the word "loyalty," I actually thought he was going to say "love." It kind of shocked me because I didn't see it coming, but given his recent tone I guess I should have.

Yep, it hurts like hell
ETA: Gee, I really was leading with my chin for the mopologists out there on that response.

It's almost as if he takes it personally that some people don't believe anymore. We saw this in his sarcastic and angry response to Tom Phillips, his awful "crawl around the Book of Mormon" talk, and now this. He's a good example of how much tribal loyalty is valued over integrity.

Tom Phillips was the 2nd annointing guy who posted his emails with Holland.
It looked to me like Holland all but came unwound Sunday morning. Then there was the BBC interview, he seems to be very on edge.

It's ironic, I complain about the GA GC drone and then when someone brings some emotion, I complain.
If there is one thing I noticed from the clips I watched, there was a lot more use of hands during the talks. Maybe they're trying to liven things up.
