We still don't know the provenance of this map. I've asked but received no response.
Folks do seem to like the map though.

MG

Yes, that’s certainly the way it looks.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 12:11 pmIt looks like the new stakes are just a reorganization in areas where massive closures have happened. At this point I can only assume that critics of the church will, at times, take so-called "evidence" from whatever source. Even if unvetted. If I can be shown that this map has provenance in actual statistical research based upon accurate data...fine. Until then, I find it interesting that everyone seems to think this map is awesome.
Where is the evidence this map should have any validity?

To use a phrase that you trot out on a regular basis - do your own homework.MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 4:52 pmAt this point I can only assume that critics of the church will, at times, take so-called "evidence" from whatever source. I think perhaps I'll follow his lead on answering questions that then go unrequited.
Don't you ever go on social media sights and read how many people are sad because their old ward was dissolved? There is some evidence. It is happening everywhere. That did not happen in the last 4 decades. How many families know people who have left? Juxtaposition that with the 60s, 70s and 80s. There is more evidence. Look at the pew studies. Look at the cell phone studies. There is some more evidence. Bednar said himself regions are shifting...but blamed it on retirement moves. More evidence.MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 4:52 pmAt this point I can only assume that critics of the church will, at times, take so-called "evidence" from whatever source. Even if unvetted. I have not been able to find this map anywhere on the internet except for this thread.
A little help?
I’d hate to think that A.I. is being used.
Regards.

That's where I found it too. A simple search on the caption provided fullerconsideration as the 3rd "hit".Rivendale wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 5:23 pmIt is from here I believe. https://www.fullerconsideration.com/ ... nits.php

The two maps don’t seem to be the same. It becomes readily apparent that the map being used in this thread seems to be something qualitatively and quantitatively different.Rivendale wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 5:23 pmIt is from here I believe. https://www.fullerconsideration.com/ ... nits.php
That makes a difference, right?
I think we’re still trying to find the original map being used in the OP.
Is it as awesome as critics are making it out to be?
One item of interest, however. In the map you linked to if you travel south there appears to be more green. What does that mean?
Anyway, a LOT more red on your source than on the OP map. It doesn’t look like they’re the same.
