The first line of a haiku has five syllables. Not four, not six, but five.
The second line of a haiku has seven syllables. It doesn't have any number of syllables other than seven.
The third and final line of a haiku also has five syllables, just like the first line.
None of these items are negotiable.

The following haiku is in honor of FAIR's sour grapes for Meldrum. I get a kick about FAIR's and DCP's hand wringing over Meldrum's theories. I like how they hoist themselves up as the pillar of scientific accuracy when it comes to archeology and point out that Meldrum's claims are BS. It reminds me of two nerds fighting about who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Batman. Its a silly debate because its about fictional characters in a fictional world. I have to feel that there is some envy since Meldrum's tall tells have gained a following including Glenn Beck and he probably is making some decent $ sellling books, tapes, lectures, tours and etc. I imagine it gets under the skin of Scott Gordon and his crew who haven't been able to monetize to the degree of Meldrum.
