I apparently got out of the loop on this thread. So, what I see is about a page of naming great male posters on this board and so what's that about? Have we now reached the "feel good" portion of the thread? If all those named are the great guys on this board, who on earth are the offenders?
And just for general purposes of reference, when I posted on this thread, I wasn't thinking about sexual remarks for the most part, I was thinking about condescending language.

I guess my point wasn't that I'm better than other guys (I'm not), but that different circumstances make it easier to speak up. I don't thnk antishock has much respect for me, but I still think he can be reasoned with. There are others who have misogynistic rants which I think cannot be reasoned with.

It started out with condescending language, treatment and "horndogs" in the OP. Then Will said Beastie and I were prudes pretty much. Then marg came in and . I replied and it went off into that tangent. Yet, I think sexual remarks CAN be condescending.
You think Will's sexual remarks aren't condescending?

A lot more people are speaking up lately. I know for a while I was seen as the shrill one (no doubt) fuming at some of the treatment. I was so pleased to see those that stood up to him.
We all can act poorly, at times. I want to be called out for my bad behavior. I'll repent!
