No, but debates and discussions are just that. And I do believe that the comments about skin color were not etched in stone. When one looks at the use of white and black in the Book of Mormon we can see that it may have had nothing to do with skin color at all. Like I said earlier there are sections in the Book of Mormon where lamanites because of their righteousness became white. Can this be skin color? And instant turning to white? I doubt it. I would be pissed off to lose my identity in such a way. But...the debate continues.
