I know that these gentlemen had mutiple wives. I also know that EVERYONE of them had difficulties as a result of this man made "tradition." My question is where in the Bible does it suggest that we will have children in the afterlife?

In the 20th verse of the 65th chapter of Isaiah, it refers to millennial conditions of the people during that time;"for the child shall die an hundred years old (changed to immortality in the twinkling of an eye -see 1 Corinthians 15:51), but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed" (having to wait until the end of the millennium to be resurrected - see Revelation 20:5). Also, in verse 23, it states that "for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, AND THEIR OFFSPRING WITH THEM."

How many of his polygamous wives did he sire children with on earth in the 1800's so that he could fulfill the purpose of 1800's earthly polygamy which was...wait for it...to multiply and replenish the earth in the 1800's?

(the answer should be a number between 0 and 33)

I've read your response a number of times but cannot see where you have provided a number. Please can you state clearly the number of polygamous wives Joseph sired children with as per my question above?

The researchers, both pro and con, can't come up with a definite number of wives, perhaps in the thirties. There are no (zero) children known, other than the obvious ones from his consummated marriages.

Still not answering the question but at least you confirm that he had sex with more than just Emma.

So, if he didn't sire children other than with Emma then he just used polygamy for gratuitous sex. If he did sire children other than with Emma, why are people (including official Church people) going to great lengths to 'prove' that he didn't?

Now, back to the question. How many of his polygamous wives bore him children as a result of him fulfilling the commandment given by God to 'multiply and replenish the earth?

(clue: it's a number between 1 and 1)

I think that he had two wives that he was intimate with; Emma and Lucy.

You will notice upon a careful re reading of my question that I didn't ask who he was intimate with. I asked who he sired children with.

In terms of intimacy, you appear to be ignoring Fanny Alger...

The facts make your position an untenable catch 22.
If he sired children with polygamous wives he was an adulteryas a third of them were already married. If he married wives who were not virgins then he failed to comply with the criteria for a polygamous marriage being valid as commanded by God. If he failed to sure children with his polygamous wives then he failed to comply with the criteria for a polygamous marriage being valid as commanded by God.
