I’m glad to see someone else acknowledge it.
I’m happy to own it. The problem is that “MMQ and Proud” is a sucky slogan.

It's what we do! Listen if someone puts it out there, I reserve the right to bash it around a bit. Now I've got 4 NMN/MD related videos in the queue over here plus the podcast just announced. Adding this to my armchair crime/murder investigations.
I'm all Sherlock Holmes/psychoanalyst over here while I work at home decrapification.

Chinese Proverb
i never thought i would see the day when TBMs would say things like:
"It's really no big deal, all the Mission President did was use his power differential to get a young missionary to show him her breasts, and show her pornography, along with a few other girls, in a secret room in the basement of the MTC with a bed and a vcr."
and "the other police report was only for sexual molestation, which is technically not rape."
and "Yes, he talked to young girls about his sexual proclivities, BUT LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF SHE HAS DONE WRONG! That woman whom I refuse to call by the name she goes by is the one in the wrong, therefore nothing about Joseph Bishop's actions bothers me. Totally. Just ask that newnamenoah guy. He knows what he's talking about."

Surreal.
Sadly, it does not surprise me. When one is of a mind to start with the answer and then work backward from there and view it through a lens with a goal of justifying the pre-determined answer, one is likely to take all sorts of absurd and inconsistent positions.
The power of rationalization allows us to excuse absurd and unconscionable acts.
