I think you have delusions of grandeur in regards to how often you even cross his mind.

Are you retarded? Did you actually need to post a picture of plaid. Crazy...

Thrift store T's mixed with mostly Japanese and Belgian designer gear (Comme des Garcon, Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watnabe, Dries van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Martin Marigela, Olivier Theyskens, Raf Simons).

Today I wore a black N'Sync child's tee shirt with a maroon Dries van Noten a-line skirt and maroon cardigan from Marc Jacobs' first line (Look). Bare legs with black ankle socks and black Dries van Noten flats. Vintage Bonnie Cashin shoulderbag and handmade book bag bought off Etsy. Mykita eyeglass frames. Yellow Casio film watch. Silver and turquoise ring.

I do have a plaid, kilt-style pleated school girl skirt, but I don't think that's what you're talking about.

Actually, I have nothing against plaid or tartan per se. It all depends on how it is used: colour, fabric, design and cut. In the plaid shirt photo you posted, the overall cotton-poly Eddie Bauer-esque vibe might also be what you are reacting to.
