No Substance. Nothing to see here. Move along.
You are trolling, MG.
TTOC, snore…

Truthfully, I think we would have to sit in a circle in a room and have a transactional face to face discussion on this rather sensitive topic. Want to arrange that? I’ll show up if it isn’t too far away. Please, after Christmas.Morley wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 8:54 pmhuckelberry wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 5:43 pmMormon talk has a deep habit of blaming doubt or questions on bad desires bad faith. MG, please let’s please address this. I think Huck has made a good point. I’m genuinely interested in your opinion.
Many who have abandoned Church affiliation believe that they’ve often heard Church authorities blame their defections on a desire to sin, laziness, or just being trivially offended. Understandably, ex-Mormons take umbrage at this. Are they wrong? Are they perceiving something that isn’t really happening?
Many on this board also have the impression that you sometimes engage in this same behavior. Again, are they wrong?
Meeting face-to-face is a whole different topic. While that might be nice, it’s not relevant in this particular case.MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 9:01 pmTruthfully, I think we would have to sit in a circle in a room and have a transactional face to face discussion on this rather sensitive topic. I REALLY don’t know any of you people. The funny thing is, you somehow think you know me so well…
Let me know where and when. I’ll bring ice cream if you’ll bring the toppings. Know alcohol or mind altering drugs. Let’s keep it real.![]()
Real life group dynamics aren’t even closely aligned with the realities of a board like this one. Man, what would it be like to sit down with some of you with a bowl of ice cream in hand.![]()

I'm about to drop a bomb in the Celestial thread: The Mosiah/Benjamin Error, What’s the King’s Name?
The party is not over!
Give me a few minutes...
I think we may have entered a new phase in the conflict, in which a new operation is tentatively being considered for execution.
If one feels that your posts are hugely less interesting than those previously posted by Mormon apologists on this board who asserted the truth of substantive propositions, and says so, one is suffering from a virus? And if one asserts that those apologists ceased to post here when their assertions had been clearly disproved, one is also suffering from a virus?MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 7:03 pmThe toxicity of the virus and its ongoing nature of spreading keeps many away. As it is, I’ve found it rather interesting to observe over time. But it can be rather sickening unless one keeps their distance.Chap wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:47 pm
Yes, but not THAT much fun. You see, I remember the old days when real meaty mopologists roamed this board, and could be engaged in combat on issues that were, essentially, matters of fact or logic. They lost, and they left.
So, no more red meat in this forum. All we have left is a single solitary jellyfish, infinitely slithery and elusive, and even if you do catch him he doesn't taste of anything much.
