That reminds me, Michael Ballam is my MSN avatar.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

Mine is Plato taken from Raphael's fresco The School at Athens. I enjoy Plato's story Phaedrus covering the dialogue between Socrates and Phaedrus. I also like Robert Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance where he portrays Phaedrus as a mystical character seeking truth and quality.

Well, despite my admiration of Shades, let me just say that I'm in passionate hate with Def Leppard. My friends played Hysteria over... and over... and over... and over... well, you get the idea. OMG, I hated that album (except the song Rockit, which wasn't too bad).

As for my Homer avatar, I picked him because I love the Simpsons, Homer's the greatest character ever invented (although god has to be up there too... he's a riot), and because I'm not trying to say that I'm special in any way, and I can think of no better "every man" character than Homer Simpson.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

I guess this is as good a place as any to introduce myself. Hi. I've been a NOMophile for most of 2007, have been lurking here for almost that long, and just finally got around to registering the other day.

My Avatar is Dr Johnny Fever, my favorite character from the best TV Sitcom of all time. Always wanted to be a DJ...

Not a Leppard fan, although I came of age during the metal years.

Oh, I almost forgot, fellow babies...BOOGER!!!!

Hi Babblonian. Welcome to the board.

I loved WKRP in Cincinnati when I was a little girl. :)

Welcome, Babblonian!

I LOVE WKRP in Cincinnati! I can still sing the "Red Wiggler" jingle. Also, I loved the episode where the radio station decided to drop turkeys from a plane as a Thanksgiving Day stunt, only to discover they couldn't fly, lol! They were hitting the ground like "bags of wet cement". I'm not sure what it says about me that that cracks me up so... ;)

I actually get a bit discombobulated when other people change theirs though.

The Art Frahm pantie girl I have now is my fav. Yet I get the most grief from silly ex-Mo men that think I'm trying to come on to them with her. ????!!!??!!

:O

I dunno. I've felt strangely turned on by just about every avatar you've yet used. I think that's part of your plan, to play the evil ex-mo seductress. ;-)
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
