Personally, I have a lot of admiration for charity, a lot more than I ever had for her when I posted on MAD. She's got some pretty decent chutzpah to come here and stand for something like she does. I just wish she brought some decent arguments with her, but she can't be faulted for not being able to do what the guys who get paid for it can't do either. But I do enjoy her contributions to the board and I hope she stays a long time. :-)
I agree, it is brave of Charity to come here knowing that the moderators won't be tipping the table in her favor, as they do at MAD, and also knowing that she won't feel strength in numbers.
You can stick around and fight at MA&D. You just have to play by the rules. It really sounds goofy to complain that in the middle of the football game they kicked you out just because you started to play rugby.
LOL! One of their "rules" is that if the mods feel that the number of critics is too high, critics will be banned without comment or notice. How can one "play by the rules" to avoid that? Or to avoid the moodiness and snarkiness of mods who seem to deliberately provoke some critics into displays of temper?
Sorry, Charity, there is no use pretending that the rules of MAD are evenly applied to both critic and believer. I mean, you can pretend, but everyone that's posted there knows better.
