Actually, that would be Davies, county, not Davis county. The former is in Missouri, the latter is in Utah.

I, too, was confused by your initial remark.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Personally, I have a lot of admiration for charity, a lot more than I ever had for her when I posted on MAD. She's got some pretty decent chutzpah to come here and stand for something like she does. I just wish she brought some decent arguments with her, but she can't be faulted for not being able to do what the guys who get paid for it can't do either. But I do enjoy her contributions to the board and I hope she stays a long time. :-)

I agree, it is brave of Charity to come here knowing that the moderators won't be tipping the table in her favor, as they do at MAD, and also knowing that she won't feel strength in numbers.

You can stick around and fight at MA&D. You just have to play by the rules. It really sounds goofy to complain that in the middle of the football game they kicked you out just because you started to play rugby.

LOL! One of their "rules" is that if the mods feel that the number of critics is too high, critics will be banned without comment or notice. How can one "play by the rules" to avoid that? Or to avoid the moodiness and snarkiness of mods who seem to deliberately provoke some critics into displays of temper?

Sorry, Charity, there is no use pretending that the rules of MAD are evenly applied to both critic and believer. I mean, you can pretend, but everyone that's posted there knows better.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

They also caused the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. Don't let them off so easy.

Juliann would issue a call for references on that point. Just tell her Bond sent you.

I will say that at least when the FAIR board transitioned to MAD, Dan G and Juliann were up front about the change in the rules. Because MAD had separated itself from FAIR and FARMS, they established MAD as a private board. They stated emphatically that MAD was a pro-LDS board. The rules were always going to be slanted toward LDS posters. There are no surprises surrounding this since the transition occurred.

At FAIR, it was more confusing because they were at least giving the appearance of "fairness", which is why Scratch's description, "the ironically named FAIRboard" was rather clever.

At least now, at the "appropriately named MADboard", you know what you're getting into.

Not to nitpick, but it's Daviess county in Missouri.
