Not that I believe in such rote fortune telling, just curious.

I have no idea. I've never read it. I doubt it says she will die from breast cancer, though.

I doubt there has ever been.

I was curious if it had the usual tripe about becoming a mother and blah blah blah... Then you could use that for comfort since she has yet to have children? That is if you believe in the fortune telling PBs?

Get the hell of the thread dumb ass. If you were here I would have half a mind to thrash your sorry ass. Harm is worried about her daughter and you are such a low life scum, yes you are scum, that you take an opportunity to dig the Church. Did one other person do this? No not one. You are a sorry excuse for a human dude. Even the smallest risk of totally leaving the LDS Church and becoming like you is reason enough to stay.

pp - You really do need to lay aside your antipathy towards the LDS church long enough to allow yourself to have empathy and compassion for fellow human beings, regardless of their religious beliefs.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Damn straight. Beastie, wanna help me thrash him? I mean you are beastie right?

Sorry harm to let PP get to me. I know he gloats in it. But I think he needs to be put in his place. What a total scum. Lower than a centipede's belly.

beastie, do Jason a favor and pull his gamies out of his butt crack. Just so you know Jason, the one piece are less likely to do that.

Jezuz you two, I was just looking for something in harmony's Mormon beliefs that might help her find comfort.

No prayer or thoughts will change the outcome of the additional tests. Do I hope the results are good? Of course I do, who wouldn't? Will my hope make a difference in the outcome of the tests? No.

OK, PP. We understand that you don't believe in God, and that you think the LDS Church sucks. There are others on this thread who also believe those things who put their feelings about the Church aside to simply wish Harmony well, and offer her support during this trying time.

It would be bad enough if she was going through this. herself. It's her child, which makes it ten million times worse. You are a father. You should know this. I know that deep down, you DO know this.

Harmony is a respected member of this community, and reached out to us for support. I think it is important for us to put feelings of the church aside and rally around our friend. She put herself in a vulnerable enough position to talk about this as a means to reach out.

No one is asking you to change your beliefs. Just be human.

I did consider that you were actually trying to point her to something that could provide comfort - but the problem is that the WAY you offered this idea was so unnecessarily abrasive that it's hard for me to believe that was your primary intent.

But I do think we shouldn't dwell on this. I don't want to turn the thread into something other than what it should be - emotional support to harmony during a difficult time.

My strong desire to beat you continues.

ReallY?

Here is the exchange:

Now if that is your measurement of comfort let me ask you, do you beat your weeping child when they come to you crying after a scrape or a fall? You are plainly a loser. Is this a result of your disaffection with the Church?

No prayer or thoughts will change the outcome of the additional tests. Do I hope the results are good? Of course I do, who wouldn't? Will my hope make a difference in the outcome of the tests? No.

YOur sweeping conclusion is based on your subjective opinion. But rather than argue that with your limited ability and your debase immoral charecter I would urge you to study a word called compassion. Goodwill and optimitic friendly words are helpful in general in a time of challenge. I know your narcisitivc mentality struggles with such ideas. Go read a good book about Ghandi or Mother Teresa. You need it man.
