The one word that is most agreable to nearly all has been removed: Liberty

Saying the Statue of Liberty is a replacement for the word is probably fine, I guess.

But in a world where symbols change their meanings, I'd like to see the word returned.

I encourage all anti-God people to send me their old dollars where I will promptly burn them in a Satanic ritual. I promise I'll do it.....really.

Is there nothing worse in the world to complain about???????

Is this for real?

Tell them that if they wish to dispose of these dollars, I'd be happy to take them off their hands. Tell them this before you show them the edge of the coin, where this statement is found. See http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/dollarcoin.asp
Nice, snopes debunks another!

Take a look at this one on snopes: http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion ... slated.asp

Yeah, I admit to not being too concerned with what it says on the money as long as I can spend it. It could say, "In Santa We Trust" (which it basically does say) and I'd have the same reaction.

This crap about what it says on the money or in the pledge is a silly, non-consequential fight, in my opinion. Non-theists are trying to fight a symptom of the problem, not the source (god belief in the first place).
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
