Well I wouldn't expect anything different from a married sheet metal worker... I understand why you hate him - You are married, he obviously warns against shackling yourself to the first mother figure that let's you see her naked... You believe in God, he is an atheist and points out the absurdity of religion on national radio... You have a seemingly insignificant job, he warns against being an underachiever... I can keep going but I think you see the point and I can tell Tom has hit a tender spot with you... don't want to be mean, but I do wonder why...

And Mormons use women for what? Mother figures to men that never really grew up or made something of themselves... Birthing

I wish I had been more selfish in the past. Nothing wrong with looking out for #1.

Why not add on some drug and alcohol abuse, not alot, just enough to make you look cool to the easy women with low self esteem.

Ok. I do like to smoke some weed every now and then, is that enough? Of course Tom doesn't recommend this...

Remember what Tom says, all those strippers were probaby abused by their Fathers, and need a new daddy who loves them, and strippers love drugs. Share a little with them and think how lucky you could get !

For someone who hates Professor Leykis so much, I wonder where you get all of these ideas about him... Hmm..

So, Leykis says that crap, too? That's rather nonsense, really.

Please don't accept that summary of the Tom Leykis show. You can podcast a few episodes of his show, or listen online to find out for yourself.

He warns men against being losers and doing stupid stuff for women. Half of the stuff what's-his-face said is news to me, and I listen to Tom every weekday on the way home from work.

Well I was gonna go with the "don't get married" line, but apparently there are bigger problems. If you are wearing pants that drape below your ass or show a substantial part of your underwear and you have a baseball cap permanently stapled to your head, then things are indeed dire. Unless you want to sort through the cast off's of Flavor Flav you need to take a long look in the mirror and check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I could let the pants slide, I suppose, but in my book there is nothing worse than a hathead. It screams frat jerk.

Please get help.

Ouch. Thanks for helping keep my self-esteem in check ;)

For the record, I am not the frat jerk type. But I do think I look better with a hat on.

No one looks better with a hat on. Trust me.

And don't sweat the marriage thing either.

Well if we ever do have that MDB get together, I'll leave my hat off and pull up my pants : )

I never sweated the marriage thing. I don't want to get married.

Oh, good grief... can all the dancing posts be moved off-topic? Sheesh. I just get tired, I suppose, of things coming up on this board about sexuality... and then I pipe up 'cause it's upsetting to see stereotypes. I wish people didn't know as much about my life as they do. This is why I post elsewhere with no one knowing ANYTHING about me - it's amazing how differently I'm treated. Truly.

GoodK, Gad has mentioned the show a few times to me and I'm not entirely convinced the Professor is correct with a lot of his advice. Here's the thing -- if you find a woman that can be your FRIEND as well as a lover it's worth a go. Why not? Why think in terms of safety and gambles? It's LIFE! We make mistakes, we learn -- we change! It's okay to stumble and get hurt every so often -- hell, it's okay even to be taken for a ride... although none of us want to experience that. Yet, it happens. So? It's just LIFE -- live it. Don't fret about it, don't think in terms of pay offs or how to watch your back.

I've been very, very, very cynical of love. I married men for all the wrong reasons. Not 'cause I was in love with them... well, that should have been safe, eh? It wasn't. At the end of the day I found myself lonely and tired of being lonely. If you find someone that brings you joy don't let them go. It's that simple. I do believe. Don't worry about marriage -- don't fear women... We're okay. Really. Some of us are. :)

I have never been married.. let alone divorced. Any other facts you need straightened out?

Next time refrain from name calling and I'll try and be more charming...

Ya, I can understand that... I certainly don't judge women in such a profession, and Gaz seemed to pull that from his rear end because no one was talking about strippers until he launched into his little rant.

I wouldn't listen to his version of the Tom Leykis show... But of course it is worth a go. Marriage and serious relationships under 25 is what isn't worth a go.

Oh don't worry, I love women... I just don't love being in love with them and then not being in love anymore... it sucks... Friend and lover is the way to go... no need to complicate things any further. In my opinion.

Gaz said that -- Not Gadiantion. Gadianton is quite awesome, actually and would never, ever say anything such as that, I'm fairly certain. He certainly wouldn't type it anywhere that I would read it -- I'm certain of that.

Ah, well being in love sort of sucks -- broken hearts do too. Yet, that's happened to me once. It shall not happen again. Friend and lover is what I'm looking for too. Good luck to you.
