Is Daniel Fibbing? (You Decide!)

He's been on this board before, and he was very badly defeated and embarrassed. For now, all he can do is lick his wounds and fire volleys from the safety and protection of the aptly named MADboard.

Like I say, only an idiot would be persuaded by a rherotician whose basic tool is to repeatedly declare victory. But, then once again, you are preaching to the choir.

I don't need to "declare victory," Bob. Feel free to look up any of the thread in which DCP and I exchanged arguments. The end result is the same in every case: Prof. P. refuses to straightforwardly answer my questions; DCP refuses to admit when he's been corneres; DCP dishes out a lot of personal attack and insults; DCP flees the scene. This stuff happens almost like clockwork.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the flood of insults he receives every time he shows up.

Or general annoyance.

It's not like DCP ever speaks hyperbolically, stirs the pot, then has a good chuckle over the resulting waves. He's dead serious most of the time. And that is why I believe him to be insane.

So: is Daniel fibbing? Has he invented this strawman more or less out of whole cloth? Or did he really read this claim somewhere? Consult your Urim, and bear your testimony in the poll!

I do seem to recall a series of posts here along those lines. But that was some months ago. Sorry, all I have is anecdote at the moment. Perhaps a cursory search will turn up something....

Until then, I shall refrain from voting.
