I think this is the crux of the matter. Power rates are lower, so even with similiar power consumption, consumers in Utah will have a lower power bill than other parts of the country. Lower bills mean more people are able to pay on time, even those that have low wage jobs.

No mystery there.

Interesting. But what causes these lower rates? Perhaps it is the Mormons.

I don't know the source of your power, so I can't say. Hydroelectric? Coal? Wind? Public utility vs privately owned? We have some of the lowest rates in the nation where I live because we are surrounded by publically-owned power-producing dams and we've got a bunch of wind farms going up too.

I'm pretty sure you just lied for real, though, because I googled liar again and searched through the first 17 pages and didn't see that image from pbs.com or a link to that site.

If everyone in the U.S. was Mormon, our power bills would all be lower. It's science.

Where? Unless Utah is burning Mormons for power production, I see no connection. And surely even the DesNews would pick up on that.

I think it is pretty clearcut in this case. Utah=Mormons, so Utah=lower electric bills == Mormons=lower electric bills.

Harm, you know better then to talk about the secret rituals we perform in the basements of the Temple. Shush.
