Yes.
I think you're wrong. The average Mormon is not stupid/attention whorish enough to get onto a TV show like that. I'd like to think that the average Mormon doesn't even watch TV shows like that but I don't have that much faith in humanity.

Mormons are far from immune from the desire for 15 minutes of TV fame. Example - I've only watched the nasty show about people telling the truth while hooked up to a lie detector (sorry, can't recall the actual name off the top of my head) a few times - probably less than five times - and two of the people were Mormons.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

They're not immune but I think the majority avoid it. I can think of four people in my ward that I guess would jump at any chance to be on TV. They're the fringe. They do not represent the average.

And the majority of nonmormons DON'T avoid it? Does this go along with the "nonmormons are even more pathetic, faithless losers than Mormons" philosophy?
Seriously, you think that the doofusses you see on reality TV represent the majority of nonmormons??? Do you live in a very small town in Utah and have had limited contact with "gentiles"?? It reminds me of when I was attending BYU, one of my friends took me to visit her parents in her very small Utah town in the middle of nowhere. They were fascinated with me because I was from "back east", and really seemed to think it would be AWFUL to live back east because you were risking being shot every time you stepped out of your door.

I agree with Nehor on this one. (looking for lightning to strike and the moon to turn to blood) LOL
The average chapel Mormon is interested in being rather private. Going on a show like this, which most chapel Mormons would die if their kids watched, is not typical behavior.
Now is it typical behavior for an Internet TBM? Yes, indeed! ;)

I've never lived in Utah, I never want to live in Utah. It's filled with those Mormon people.

Idaho?
So do you believe that the people on reality TV represent the majority of nonmormons?

No, Texas, though I'm California born. No, I don't. I think reality TV people (both Mormon and Non-Mormon) are pulled from the same group that enjoy Jerry Springer and if they're the norm our society would have collapsed long ago.
