I think that's by far the most plausible way of interpreting Scartch's private inaction. On the other hand, his public hyperventilation about my supposed "death threats" is mere histrionics, nothing more than a recent tactical maneuver in his long-term effort to defame me and malign my character.

Scartch has been claiming for several weeks now that I harbor lethal fantasies against him. So I decided to give him a glimpse into the Stygian darkness of my soul, as he imagines my soul to be. That he takes such stuff seriously, or at least pretends to do so, says more about him than about me.

Therefore, I hand down the following verdict: "Tempest in a teapot."

Will Scartch appeal this verdict?

If you yourself believed that Dan made a bonafide death threat against Scratch, why didn't YOU (or Scratch his alleged victim) report it to local authorities?

Instead you all went on for 4 days, attempting to forward the idea that Daniel made an authentic death threat against Scratch, you used the word "kill" in your posts to describe it, and spent 4 days asking Scratch's alleged potential assassin to...

"say sorry".

Your ability to engage in candy ass games, is rivaled only by that of Scratch.

It doesn't really surprise me much that Jersey Girl (of all people) is here kicking up an over-dramatic storm, apparently without having bothered to read the original thread in its entirety.

After DCP's "joke" thread, I went ahead and looked into the appropriate legal channels. I came away with the understanding that I ought simply to make note of the threat, when it occurred, and how DCP responded, etc. I also made it very clear to Dr. Peterson that I don't find these "jokes" to be very funny. He can claim that he is using "absurdist" humor, or whatever else. I don't really care---tell it to the judge, is what I say. I'm sure that men guilty of sexual harassment also feel that they were "just joking."

But, in lieu of Dr. Shades's remarks, I think that DCP has gotten the message, and I believe that, in the future, he will refrain from stooping to such behavior. So there is (hopefully) no real need to go rooting around in this issue. It *is* interesting to note, though, that he apparently wanted to use the occasion as a means of getting himself banned from the board. Just imagine the "martyr points" he could have racked up that way!

Jersey Girl read every single exchange on the thread of origin including your statement to Dan that he was told to "cease the behavior" when nothing remotely of the kind was stated and remarks to cks where you claim to take death threats "very seriously" and then continue on to say that an apology would go along way to making things better.

Fully laughable.

As for the over-dramatic "storm", the so called drama storm was created by you and your gullible minions who attempted to forward it, one of which was Porter.
