CC
Are you still a member of record in the LDS Church?
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it.

antishock8 wrote:Jehovah's Witnesses like Calculus Crude-sader have misrepresented the doctrine of the Trinity in two ways:

Misrepresentation 1: Jesus is the Father.

This doctrine, called Modalism.

Misrepresentation 2: That there are 3 'gods' in the Trinity.

The Christian Church does not teach this. This is an error known as Tritheism, also rejected by Trinitarians.

The Athanasian Creed (4th - 5th centuries A.D.):

"So the Father is God: the Son is God: and the Holy Spirit is God. And yet they are not three Gods: but one God. So likewise the Father is Lord: the Son is Lord: and the Holy Spirit Lord. And yet not three Lords: but one Lord. For like as we are compelled by the Christian verity: to acknowledge every Person by Himself to be God and Lord: So we are forbidden by the Catholic Religion to say, There be three Gods, or three Lords." The Athanasian Creed clearly defines the Trinity as "one God", and rejects any idea otherwise.

-------

So, we can already see Calculus Crude-sader misunderstanding the very nature of his own faith. Not only does he reject LARGE SWATHS of his own Bible, but now he fundamentally rejects the deity of his own God.

What weird and crazy way to stay faithful to one's faith. First he's an ex-Mormon who is still a member of record, and now he's a Christian that rejects Christianity.

So. Weird. As if he has any right to judge Mormonsim!

I know the doctrine of the trinity, you lying pos. I corrected the very error you falsely attribute to me here.

As far as I know, yes. Thankfully, I do not come from a Mormon family.

For you, I'm sure it is. But again, this only provides commentary on you're own lack.

I want to feel sorry for you; I really do. You certainly deserve pity. It's just so difficult to pity moronic pricks.

Oh well.

That also struck me as ironic.

I'm NOT saying that CC is mediocre, but I am saying that bragging about one's superiority seems like, well, an inferior thing to do. I know it's hard to be humble when you're just so much better than everyone else, but well, actually it's not that hard.

Before becoming Mormon what Church did you belong to? Did your parents also become Mormon? How long ago did you leave? What church do your parents belong to now?

Why is it that every time I read one of your posts, I get the feeling you were sobbing all over your keyboard as you wrote it? Are you looking for pity? I ask because I'm genuinely starting to feel sorry for you.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
