It comes with the territory of being electable. Bush was virtually worshiped in some segments of our society. Hence my video of Bush virtually being worshiped by a segment of our society.

If you were implying something much darker by "history repeating itself" then you deserve a mixture of pity and contempt.

I meant that people develop propaganda to prop up their cult figure. Mr. Obama has a cult-like status with his followers as demonstrated by the propaganda itself. If you all have your feelings hurt because his propaganda was shown along side other culty political figures then that's a personal issue.... And my point, was clearly missed.

Maybe they should ask the Catholics.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I started a thread about this over on the MAD board. At this point, I'm being compared to the crowd who called for Barabbas instead of Jesus. Why am I not surprised?

Seriously???

John, you need to give that place up. That is beyond ridiculous!!!

Sorry, but I don't see a lot of zip in the LDS leadership. Where's the charisma?

This is a good point. Isn't the first item on the cult checklist a charismatic leader? The LDS church fails the cult test right off the bat.
