Does The Nehor really think that the couple wouldn't have been wrestled to the ground if they instead simply held up signs saying that they were homosexual? Even if he does, he's not off the hook, because that would mean that Church agents resorted to violence because of the differential of a same-sex peck on the cheek, which is absurd.

Now obviously, the Church has a right to say what people can't do on its property. But with this incident, it's showing that it would rather wallow in three thousand year old goatherder morality than adopt the live-and-let-live attitude that is the hallmark of modernity.

Violence? Wrestled to the ground? What?!?!?!?

I'll take the tried and true 'goatherder' mentality that works over the vacuous morality of modernity that defines tolerance as indulgence.

In other words, you'd rather stone disobedient children to death than let boys kiss. Why am I not surprised?

Gay people are not dishonoring their parents? Would you care to restate your opinion on this one?

How are they dishonoring their parents? Because they won't have children? One of my sisters has no children, due to the abuse she suffered at the hands of my younger brother when she was a child. Is she dishonoring our parents?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Awwww......poor baby. I know a little something about police procedure and you generally don't put someone on the ground to cuff them or use force unless they're resisting. I don't see violence or wrestling happening unless he's confessing that he was physically resisting.

If we had a society where parents were required to take their kids in to be stoned if they grew up to be disobedient drunken reprobates (the actual law) then I imagine parenting might be taken a bit more seriously by some people. Yes, I'd rather see such a law then allow gay marriage.

Hello,

How is holding hands, a hug, and a kiss on the cheek possibly "unchaste"?

Very Respectfully,

Doctor CamWhore,

Any relationship between members of the same gender involving physical attraction is against the LDS Law of Chastity.

I put the odds at a passive resistance here pretty high. The assumption that police are going to use the least restrictive force necessary is quite naïve, though. Police routinely violate that. The notion of a police officer using more force than necessary in concert with their personal prejudices is common enough that there's nothing whatsoever unbelievable about it happening in any one instance.

With that out of the way, this is my current favorite police brutality video:

Don't worry. I hear she was a disobedient, drunken reprobate.

Great. Hopefully you realize this reads as, "I am a twisted monster."

I realize that sometimes more then needed force is applied but I notice that the arrested guy never makes this claim overtly. I don't doubt some physical force was used. I just highly suspect it was needed. On the whole I think the message is that when you are engaged in homosexual kissing on LDS property and are asked to leave, LEAVE!!!!!!!!

For all interested, I am a twisted monster. Either that or I'm a lone voice of reason in a world of madness. I'm going to go with the second choice instead of giving in to the liberal Marxist commie socialist red left-wing homosexual ways that you espouse.

I'd have more sympathy if LDS Inc. had not used a bait and switch to purchase the property under the pretext that it would be a public resources--"a little bit of Paris"--only to turn it into its own private religious preserve, complete with morality police.
