The Sampson Avard Golden Scepter is absolutely a prestigious and valuable award. I don't have the figures on hand at the moment, but I can assure you that it has a substantial monetary value. But perhaps its real value is its totemic power--you can literally wield the thing. Now Pa Pa can wave his scepter over the Mopologists in much the same way that Elder Bruce McConkie once waved his very own "scepter of judgment" over the head of Eugene England.
