Simon, you are a living, breathing testament to the success of his "little project." LOL.

What? Are you certain? I'm sure I've read about a Professor of Jaredite Studies somewhere.

On the other hand, there is no professor of Simon Belmont Studies, so he may have a point.

With all the polls going on, someone should start a poll predicting the "magic number".

You can't be a scholar of something that doesn't exist.
You do realize, don't you Simon, that there's more evidence of the existence of Mopologetic Studies than there is of elohim, jehovah, nephi, alma, Mormon and moroni combined?

That's a great suggestion, Dean Robbers, though I know that Mopologists won't play along. It makes you wonder if the MST admins are already predicting something akin to "peak oil" with the Mormon Scholars.

[quote="Doctor ScratchHi there, jon.

Actually, the apologists have been dodging and avoiding my questions since Day 1. What *is* the goal exactly? Is the site a missionary effort? A subtle attempt at apologetics? A massive appeal to authority? All of the above? Surely you can't blame a scholar of Mopologetic Studies for being curious about such things. Ergo, when Dr. Peterson finally caved in and offered up some numbers related to his expectations for the site, he opened the door for commentary on the posting rate, which, as I've correctly pointed out numerous times, has declined. And I don't think you can deny that he has always been extremely boastful about the posting rate, the setting of goals, and etc.[/quote]

Hi Doc,
I can agree with you that Mr Peterson boasts rather too much to be described as a humble man. I think the website is a non-event. The number of posts, the actual content, it's purpose - I would hazard a guess that it's true purpose is in currying favour for its originator with people higher up the Mormon foodchain.

That said, I didn't think you needed to stoop to being misleading about the targets and you quite rightly got shot down for that. Perhaps you should have targeted the content of some of the scholars testimonies...

Let's move on.
