I did not lie. Here is the whole truth.

I wrote erotica between 2004-2006.

I met my wife in August of 2006.

At the time, I had started going back to Church, but after we got together and combined our households into one, I went back to attacking the Church. I also continued writing erotica.

As time progressed, I started losing interest in erotica. Started focusing more on Hardboiled detective stories.

Came across Associated Content and published my last ANTI-MORMON essay on the Pre-Existence (not Pro Mormon, Anti-Mormon) on AC Content. I published a couple of more articles, and then in 2007, published At the Ocean at AC. At the ocean was also published on a couple of writing forums (one banned it because of the adult theme). Along with At the Ocean, I wrote Sizzling rain, and others.

After my wife and I got married - 2009, and then a month later found out we were having a child, I decided to clean up my online profiles and remove all those contents because that was the time we really decided to go back to Church.

My first real official apologetic piece was back in January 2009 and was on an examination and study of Galatians.

Since that time forward, I have not been doing much writing because in March of 2009 I had become a student with Kaplan university and to date, most of my writings have been school related projects, assignments, and essays. I have little time to devout to any other writing than what I am required to do for class.

Why did I keep At the Ocean on my AC Profile? It was a piece of writing. All writers should keep a copy their writings, no matter how asinine and comical it is. Heck, I have some writing from when I was in high school that I read on occasion and wonder what the hell I was thinking at the time.

Have I tried to get it removed, Yes, I have, but not aggressively.

It actually was not until the situation came about that I realized that some individuals here were correct. Why would an LDS Apologist start publishing articles on morality while they have a published work that is erotic? That is a valid question. And therefore, I decided that I needed to figure out a way to have that last content removed. Do I still have it? Yes, I do still have it on disc, along with many other writings.

Since 2009, I have not actually written anything fictional at all. No short stories, no hardboiled detective fiction, no working on my failed novel, nothing. I have been writing, researching, studying, and working on my degree.

That is the honest truth. However, some think otherwise and go out of their way to try and disprove that. Why? Do they not have anything better to do in their time? Do they relish in such ad hominem tactics and get a kick at making something look like something that it really is not when the truth is told?

I am not expecting any answers. However, I do believe in giving honest answers to honest questions. It is up to the individual who receive the answers to decide for himself or herself whether or not they are willing to accept that answer.

Have I ever denied writing erotica? No, I wholeheartedly admit it, so why would I lie about when and the time line? What would it benefit me by lying about it? In all honestly, if I was lying about it, why would I be readily able to admit to the fact that not only did I at one time write erotica, but admit that At the Ocean was not the only erotica piece I had written and subsequently published online?

There are some parts of your story that don’t add up. I’m not accusing you of lying, but rather making unwarranted conclusions, or misremembering past events.

Your cached myspace profile made it clear that you were interested in writing “harboiled” detective fiction with erotica as a backdrop. In the very next paragraph you stated an interest in meeting other LDS. You had also just received a calling in church. None of this supports your assertion that the erotica writing only occurred when you were out of the church.

The second thing that doesn’t add up is your conclusion that people from THIS site were sending you hate mail and threats due to PP’s linking to your picture. As liz pointed out, that just doesn’t make sense given the fact that your picture was only up for 20 minutes, the thread did not get a lot of attention, and very few posters even saw the picture.

I think it is much more likely that someone from your past, whether your “real life” past or internet past is harassing you. in my opinion, you were wrong to blame the posters of this board for those acts and should apologize and also admit your erroneous assumptions on MDD, where you also falsely accused posters of this board of hate mail and threats.

I understand that you don’t know who sent you the hate mail and threats, but you have to admit it is unlikely it originated from this site due to PP’s actions. You were wrong to malign members of this board in that fashion.

Beastie, I agree with your conclusion. However, I hardly used the myspace account. In fact, that same description is on my writerscafe.org profile as well. Furthermore, the individual who posted the webcache of my myspace information did not have to go to google cache. I did delete the myspace account last night.

Prior to last night, my last log in to that myspace account was well over a year or so ago. I also had my status updates connected with my Facebook account. So, it still does fall inline with the timeline. Again, I haven't lied about writing the erotica. I admitted that I did in fact write it along with others.

In fact, I used to love collecting Pin up girls. A few weeks back, I finally accessed my Photobucket account and deleted all the pinup girl pictures I had on there (which was over 200 pictures).

Maybe you missed the entire point of this post. I have apologized to Dr. Shades. I came here to set the record straight and to give my side of the story. And, maybe you have further missed the fact that I have already said that I had not written erotica for the past four years.

As to being an asshole well that is your opinion.

You sound like a loose cannon. You claim death threats, yet you supply no evidence. Therefore, until the evidence is display it did not happen. This is a heavy charge against members of this board.

Second, you claim to be a writer but lack a high school level vocabulary. If you are serious about becoming a writer then go to school and start at the basics such as sentence structure.

Third, this deals with the advised education, do not go to Kaplan. Kaplan is another dog sh1t school that will lead you to a dead end. I am sorry you are one of the unsuspecting individuals who dreamed of college only to get stuck in an education equivalent of a ponzi scheme. You have thrown money away and your school is not recognized by the federal govt. Don't believe me? Try applying for a federal gov't job listing Kaplan, Univ. of Phoenix, or some other garbage school.

This all leads to the final conclusion of this post...you are not making wise decisions. You go from member to critic writing porn to member to depressed to broken marriage that is dealing with deal threats and somewhere along the way you began writing poorly developed apologetics. Slow down, perhaps develop some mindfulness.
