Beats me...I ain't the judge of that. I was just playing with you a little. But, I don't think its totally negative to have your head in the clouds once in a while. There's an implication of positive thinking there, so it can be good.

Stem, if you called someone an a--hole and they complained about it, you'd come back and say that: 1) You were just kidding. 2) Where are the all the smilies? Shades took away our smilies! and 3) They should really be complimented because an a--hole is such an important part of the digestive system.

It's disingenuous and infuriating.

Have you ever read the OP of a thread, had your hopes up that it would be a very interesting discussion, proceeded to read the entire thread, and found the majority of the posts to be completely bizarre, disingenuous, frustrating, and an utter waste of your time to have read it?

I just did!

Peace,

Oh man...

I generally don't call someone names at all. I didn't call Buffalo a name at all. I admit I was being playful. I meant no offense and I'll wager Buffalo took no offense. If he took offense to that, then I sincerely apologize and I'd like to explain I meant no offense. And saying someone has his/he head in the clouds does imply some positive thinking, as far as I understand. Of course Buffalo doesn't live life that way. He's very practical and reasonable--thus, it was all playful.

Hope that helps.

Welcome to MDB threads, Ceeboo. It takes some digging and patience but there are some good conversations popping up every once in a while.

That is generally an indication that a thread is dying. Everyone has said what they want to say, and they veer off-topic just to keep it from dying. Maybe just a gentle "bump" would do just as well.

In that case, most threads here might be considered still-born.
