Why? The rate of depression in the general population is less than in Utah.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Yet Utah's rate is increasing as the percentage of LDS in the state gets smaller.

If both stats are factually true then are they linked?
