I am pretty sure Homodoxy would be contrary to the Proclamation on the Family.

However, a good slogan for the Maxwell Institute would be:

Orthodoxia, Orthopraxia & Orthodontia

Yeah, I actually made a mistake.

Blue for believers
Purple for apologists
Red for NOMs

That makes more sense because apologists are more of a NOM/believer hybrid thingy.

what color am I? ;)

What color are prospective members?

Homodoxy may be a good term for gay russian or greek orthodox church members.

The other terms may offend orthodox members if incorporated by the Mormons. What now? or just saying.

Then some of NOM are active members and they should be called active and stop trying to find a new identity to commiserate with others who believe themselves to be different too.

Nothing wrong in being active. What about somewhat active for NOM? That was the term in the 70's.

Because "active" says nothing about your beliefs. That was my point.

Actually, there is no such term now as "inactive."

If you had been active at some point since the 70's, you would have known the new and improved term is "less active."

Actually, 70's would have been pure and simply - Jack Mormon.

Me? Jack Mormon, through and through - and proud of it! Do not be calling me any of this "less active" b.s.

The only possible descriptor for why me would be simply idiot

Active believing=TBM
Active nonbelieving=NOM
Nonactive believing=Jack Mormon
Nonactive nonbelieving=Ex-Mormon (or never-mo, of course)

These aren't all inclusive, because you can be semi-active and/or semi-believing. But the point is that there are more than one axis to consider with regard to one's relationship with and participation in the church, so Active/Nonactive doesn't cover it.
