The one and only benefit - there are some nice people there.

Yes. When old doctrine doesn't match up with new doctrine, the old doctrine must be altered or erased from the books. I believe the motto for this is "He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future." BC Space is like Winston Smith without the cognitive dissonance.

quark, do you have to go back to church? Did I miss something? This week has been crazy busy so I haven't been on here much.
Did you have to wear G's again?
Really that's the only hard part about faking going to church. The rest is pretty easy to fake. Especially if you have a smart phone cause then you can just play around the whole time.
Let's see benifits...
I actually do like wearing a suit sometimes. I just got a new suit for my cousins wedding and I always get compliments in them. haha well... sometimes they are compliments like this "Rambo you look really good in a suit, you should wear one more often." It's a hint for me to go to church. I just reply that I should wear it to work sometimes.
You get to be closer with some old friends. I don't see a lot of my Mormon friends to much because they are always doing church activities and I am partying it up.
When you go into bishop interviews you can go into extreme detail about a sin you did and then at the end say just kidding!
You could ask awkward questions in sunday school. Like where did all the water go after the flood? Or how did Adam and Eves kids reproduce when they were brothers and sisters? Did Joseph Smith have marry other women without his wife knowing? Are Mormons aloud to have oral sex? Damn I wish I asked a few of these instead of just leaving quietly.
Oh you could bring coke to church and drink it in front of a bunch of people. Or drink some decaf coffee.

No, but I thought about it and that gave me a grin.
