harmony is being coy. It was moved to a moderator forum that no one else can see, which has the same effect as deleting it for us non-moderator types, at least until such time as it may (or may not) be restored.

Accuracy, Equality and Eric. The thread was moved at the request of the thread starter, as Liz said. It still exists, in the place the thread starter requested. To say it was deleted is as inaccurate as saying Dan was fired.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

So it was deleted. Cool. Why does this crazy person thread starter have so much control over the board? I mean, not only can he delete his own posts, but ours too? Wow.
No, it wasn't thrown away. We just moved it to the trash.

I have to say that I do find it strange that a person who starts a thread can ask for it to be (to all intents and purposes) hidden from public view.
Why not treat this guy like anybody else, who has to stand by what they write?
Can anyone ask for their threads (and all comments on them) to be hidden from public view in future? If, for instance, Daniel Peterson comes back here and embarrasses himself (now why would I expect that?) could he ask for a veil to be drawn over his indiscretions?
If this facility is to be made available, could we please see a rule indicating in general terms the conditions under which it will be applied?

This has been hashed till the cows come home ... but in a nutshell, you have banished a long time family/friend and then here protected some idiot, simply at their request.

I have only ever seen Shades’ act on two things:
1. A threat to the board (ok he let this slide with several until he made an example of one).
2. in real life violations.
I assume (and ask Shades for clarification) that this is not about item 1 (there is no threat to the board by leaving the OP in public view).
I’m told in this thread, by Nort, that he requested the OP be pulled. Thus I’m left to assume that Shades pulled the OP based on item 2. And yet, after apparently doing Nort a favor, he immediately responds in this thread with more in real life information about himself and reaffirms his intentions from the OP which was pulled. A list of his quotes in this thread alone follow.
And Nort, yes it is censorship of all of the other individuals who posted (seven pages worth last I saw) are removed along with yours.

I will say this one more time and will not say it again:
I have been PLANNING a "project" for OVER 10 years.
It has been in the works since at least January 2005.
EVERYTHING that is and has been done has been planned, discussed, debated and bounced off an attorney before it has been done.
The next time you hear about this "project" will be the day it is complete and it will ONLY be done on OUR (me and the voices in my head) time schedule.
Believe. Doubt. Frankly, I don't give a f***.

Two people know the reason for the removal in question and it will remain that way.

I have never witnessed anything resembling "censorship" on this board. Remember, I'm the one that requested the thread be taken down. It's for a reason which I will not share with you.
It is a fairly well known and established fact that back in 2004-2005 I was making my own temple recommends and attending the temple(s) often. I would almost always leave my calling card (notes with my website URL on them) every time I went.
In January 2005, when the major change was made to the initiatory, I went through the Jordan River Temple that very day (it was a Tuesday morning if memory serves me correctly) and obtained a hard copy of the new initiatory script and hand delivered it to Sandra Tanner that day. I then went home and posted the details of the new script on my website (you can still find it if you search an archive.)
The temple recommends were changed, adding the bar code that now must be scanned, because of me.
I received a lifetime ban from RfM specifically because I spoke often about attending the temple (and getting others in as well) after I had left the cult. The fact that I said Erik K. and his watch dog Susan I/S don't have a single testicle between them probably didn't help.
On a related side note, that banishment from RfM was a blessing as it helped me significantly "recover" from Mormonism. Ironic, yes?
Doubt me all you want. There are those who know and those who wish they knew the truth. You clearly fall into the latter category.
Soon enough you too will know. I won't even ask you for 10% of your gross income before you do.

Re: Did Any One Notice...
Agreed with that. He could have deleted his own posts. Instead, he was egotistical enough to squelch those who dissented from his planned action, or how he planned to go about it. The Mormon ego translated into anti-Mormon activity. And Nort, yes it is censorship of all of the other individuals who posted (seven pages worth last I saw) are removed along with yours.
Even I thanked Pahoran for his criticism and responded to it. Which I am SURE the mopologists did not like. We must not allow ourselves to sink to their level.
