As do I. Which is precisely why we have such an eclectic group of posters here.

Remember, LDSToronto was the one who originally used the word "tolerate," not me. I was merely using his verbiage. Reminder:

Oh for the love of God, can't we just adhere to the spirit of the law instead of endlessly haggling over the letter of the law?

Our love of God aside, I truly do not understand what the spirit of the law dictates. I guess its fair to state that the curators of the Louvre are not the best arbiters of what can be posted here.

I think it may be up to you (as Luddy says, you hold the baton) to delineate what is acceptable.

My personal belief is that consideration of nsfw material should not dictate what is acceptable. I think that each individual member should determine for his or her self whether or not to access MDB at work.

I will adhere to whatever rule you decide on.

What is so difficult about clicking on a link? So many people's computers get sick from visiting pornography. Those of us who can't afford to take our 'puters to the doc on a regular basis appreciate the sense of safety.

There is nothing difficult about it, but I'll bet most people do not do it simply because it takes more time. I like Ludwigm's posts but I rarely take the time to follow his picture links.

Sorry Ludwigm, it's just me being lazy.

I agree that it's not a big deal to click on a link. I'm just a little unsettled that Ludwigm has been singled out for content that the rest of us are given a pass for.

Ludwigm has lived most of his life as an officer of an army that was a satellite for the old Soviet Union. No wonder that he has a little disrespect for authority. I think that should be taken into consideration.

Ludwigm's offensive posts are all cartoons with only a smattering of sexual content. Nothing that would not be allowed on any cable network in the US.

Ludwigm is funny, clever and nothing that he has posted rises to the level of pornography. No employer of anyone reading his posts could be offended.

Have you ever worked in an environment where you could be written up for sneezing?

Who cares if people see NSFW images at work? When did that become the responsibility of this forum?

No, nor would I. Probably the reason I'm self employed is that I can't find it in myself to work for fools. Of course, being self employed, I may be working for a fool right now.

If one is working for a boss that will write one up for sneezing, one shouldn't access MDB at work anyway. Regardless of the content.
