How did I not know, or forget, that you are related to Elder Richard G. Scott? One of his brothers was in my ward growing up and that brother's son-in-law bought me suits for my mission. Elder Scott visited my ward to give a fireside when he was a Seventy. I ran into him at the MTC while I was there preparing for my mission. Huh. What a small world.

It is indeed a small world. . I will also add that the reason Uncle Richard was not at conference is due to recouping from his recent hospitalization for the gastric bleeding, which is now under control. My understanding is that he is at home and resting comfortably.
Also, someone mentioned that he has a gay son. Yes, that is true. One of his adopted sons is gay. Another of his adopted sons has a criminal record, and later got his life together. crap happens in everyone's family. It's human. It's called life.
