That’s where you have to either sort them out or throw them all away. And allow others to the same without judging their judgement to be inferior to yours.

That’s the tough part, right?

No. You don't have to throw out anything at all. You can assume their inner workings are inspired by God, I suppose. But it seems quite possible their inner workings though thought to be from God, aren't coming from anything outside them at all. It could be their claimed revelations from God, or inspirations or however one chooses to word it, are simply them attributing their own thoughts, feelings and ideas to a construct called God.
That’s kind of funny. You say “No” and then go on to contradict yourself.

What do you mean? I don't think it's tough. It'd be tough to pretend there's a God and some random person's claimed revelation was actually from Him while most others were not. I'd think.

Why do you think I go on to say it was tough?

Because you went on to do what you said you wouldn’t do. And you may not even realize it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think you think I explained I'd throw out their claimed revelation? nah...I wouldn't. I may end up considering it their opinion, but I wouldn't throw it out. If someone claims revelation its their burden to prove...not mine. If you think my opinion that someone's claimed revelation likely isn't revelation amounts to me throwing it out, then you are mistaken. I don't throw it out. I may simply consider it their opinion...but that's not throwing out what they say.

Allowing others to sort things out without any judgment on their judgement.

Why? Because you never have all the information or the full story as to how another person may have sorted things out in regards to what I said earlier.

Anyway, I think we’ve beat this horse to death. Shall we just let him die…since he’s dead?

We may find ourselves getting caught in a loop going nowhere. That’s Marcus’s modus operandi. It’s fruitless and a waste of time when conversation can be more productive.

Pray tell, you lost me a while back. Lost my interest anyway. Others may not admit to it but I would bet it’s the same for them.

Care to answer my questions and engage in the conversation?

this is a key point to me. If I recall correctly, some years back DrW expounded quite thoroughly on the history of why and how people might attribute "their own thoughts, feelings and ideas to a construct called God." it was a fascinating thread, and his analysis was impeccable. I'll see if i can dig up a reference from our recalcitrant archives.

Yeah let’s drop it because, I’ll be honest, I don’t think you made any sense.

And I could/should say that about you also. But I won’t.
