Yeah, I hear you. It’s a predictable outcome for any organization where you have only incentives for one type of outcome, and no penalty for methods and means. Enron is a classic example and I think the analogy is surprisingly apt for this instance.

I haven’t read through the thread to see if this has already been said. You’d think whomever came up with the name Richard Nygren as a black man from B’ham Alabama would have chosen a more traditional name such as Johnson, Jackson, maybe even Nygrenson. But no, it seems a Swedish name was assigned to this alleged black dude from The Magic City. For what it’s worth that was my first when this topic surfaced.

And due to the uniqueness of the name, an internet search for Richard Nygren will always lead people here. Nygren is forever linked to Robert Boylan, Mike Parker, Spencer Krauss, Daniel Peterson, and Stephen Smoot.

Another indelible black eye for Mormon apologetics.
