Chill the hell out, Pahoran. I was agreeing with you that for Nemesis to post Dr. Shades' real name was at least somewhat comparable to Shades linking Nemesis to his other forum persona, which seems to be part of his real name, and that he shouldn't do it.

The only times I have ever referenced your RL name is when discussing things that were published under your real name or posts that you made under that MA&D handle, so you might want to reserve your drama queen "cold-blooded act of malice" fatuity for some future knee-jerk snarling at me on another subject.

They have been at pains to keep those two "identities" separate. When they log in to their mod accounts, they are working only in moderator mode. When they log in to their "normal" accounts, they're just like any other poster. Trumpeting that some moderator X is poster Y is "outing" them as surely as saying that "Dr Scratch is Mark Hofmann."

But they're still anonymous. Their real names aren't being posted to any board.

Does that pass for Mormon logic these days?

Collapsing separate sock puppets into one identity is not outing anyone in the way that "saying that 'Dr Scratch is Mark Hoffman'" would surely be. After all, Mark Hoffman is a person's in real life identity. The fact that I am both sock puppet and nimrod does not disclose my in real life identity.

Why would anyone assume DanG is someone's real name?
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Are they brothers? ;)

We do have JLo, as well. Maybe DanG is famous.

Thanks!

I'm not a big Johnny Cash fan in general, but I thought his rendition of Hurt was incredible. And, given the story of his life, moving.

Your voices have been heard! Thanks to everyone for their input. I very much appreciate it.

I have started a new thread to account for what I've learned from this thread. You may read it at:
