Here's what I posted on liz's board. I admit I wanted to try liz's board to see if a willingness to ban or not allow historically problematic posters would make a difference.
I don't understand this, Beastie. Two of the invited posters are/were Ray A and DCP. Do you not consider these two "problematic," or what?

Well, I think any poster can be viewed as problematic given the right circumstance. Some would say that I'm problematic. So, in times past, they could be problematic. Ray, I'm sure would admit this. DCP, not so much. Keep in mind that I also admit that I, in certain circumstances, can be problematic.
But that's not what I had in mind with "problematic". I'm thinking more along the lines of posters who clearly would be banned on any board with a more proactive moderating approach. Posters that are obviously saying things mainly to incite.

I get what you're saying--sort of. I'd freely admit that *I* can be problematic, too. What I'm asking is: Did you really think that the line-up of posters on Liz's board was truly and genuinely free of these sorts of people? I just don't understand why you--of all people--thought that this would work, given the folks who were invited.

I think it good to add for honesty's sake, I respect Liz more now, after this whole episdoe, than I did before. She's handled this extremely well, all things considered.
