He said I was psychologically damaged from bringing brought up as a self loathing female Mormon (by the way, I converted at the age of 19 and was brought up in a female/strong household). He said I was likely the product of incest. I can't prove this, because the posts are long gone. But there are others here who may remember the episode. I am not exaggerating.

I believe you. SL Cabbie attacked me after I made it evident I believed the tanners to be less credible because of their christianity. This was during my deconversion, and I seriously began questioning RFM at that point. I still posted to RFM but with a more skeptical eye.

Perhaps Bob McCue's observations will be more persuasive to you than ours:

Could you give me a date for Bob's post or a few words in the subject heading?

Jan 24 16:22 On Persuasion and Civility – The Vogel Imbroglio (bob mccue)

If you search on his name, there's a Part 2.

Sorry, I forgot that I don't know how to link specific RFM threads. I'm not even sure there's a way to do it at all.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

It's magic!

Heh-heh.

Okay, this might not be the "right" way, but here's how I do it:

(1) Click on the thread from the main page
(2) "Expand" the thread
(3) Right-click on the first post in the thread and chose "copy link location"
(4) Then paste wherever

At least I think this is how I do it - I've never tried to actually describe the steps. Try it and see if it works. The main downside is the incredible length of the full URL. If I was really fancy, I'd use tinyurl, but I'm too lazy.

Damn - now everybody will know my secret, and my one special talent won't be special anymore.

if not, I revoke your special status

So, did it link to where you wanted it to link? Am I still special?

And it's spelled "beyotch" (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=beyotch). I correct you because that's the kind of beyotch I am.
