Non-sequitor, but then maybe it isn't an official fallacy if you were exaggerating for effect.

Jesus apparently has communication problems. His perfection doesn't extend to framing sentences in ways that don't require apologists to step in and explain what he really meant.

Uh, no. Jesus steps in Himself and further explains as He does when speaking about why He used the words "Eternal Damnation" and "Endless Punishment" (D&C 19) or when He explains about marriage in heaven (D&C 132).

What further clarification is there to the First Vision? The obvious one that in fact through the atonement of Jesus we are forgiven of our sins. Other churches teach that too. Therefore not everything they teach is incorrect. At least as far as their words go. You know, "draw near to me with their lips".

I have long thought that it really would be much worse to be a JW than a Mormon, for various reasons. One, they do that tracting thing their entire lives. OMG, that's enough to turn me off right there. Two, they discourage education. Three, they MAKE family members shun apostates at the risk of losing their own membership.

Don't forget the blood transfusion thing.
