Got any guesses who Momus is?

Wasn't Liz banned before the board split off from FAIR and became the MAD board? If so, then her experience is obsolete. Will is claiming that Juliann hasn't been a mod since the switch to MAD.

It is nowhere near as simple as Will seems to believe while reclining in the comfort of his apparent ignorance. He isn't aware of the status of the debate, so he wouldn’t know anything about that. Or, it could be that simple, and I'm making it out to be more complicated than it really is, since I don't like the answer - and I have a 'spiritual confirmation' that juliann is a moderator.

Is Will a mod - is that how he has his knowledge? If not, then he's only relying on the word of those that have shown themselves untrustworthy.

I've observed too many mod postings that are vintage juliann to not believe that she is one.

I don't remember. If her experience is obsolete, Will's is nonexistent (unless he's a MAD mod, he would have no way of knowing.)

MAD goes out of its way to protect its moderators. Juliann was a very well known moderator voice, and a very unpopular one among critics, for good reason. I would not be surprised if she was still a moderator, but denied to be one.

Of course, I could be wrong. I haven't followed MAD threads in general, and moderator comments in particular, to recognize her voice.

There was a thread on MAD about someone having a hard time quitting smoking, and Hammer was picking on that person. Then one of the mods (I'm pretty sure it was Momus) chimed it and told Hammer to shut up and be supportive since said mod knew how hard it was to quit smoking. Do a search there, if you want; I can't.

So Momus could be an ex-smoker. As if that helps.
