Was Tal a famous muscian when he was Mormon? I never heard of him until he began to show up on exmormon and Mormon boards.

And is katherine a genuine exmormon? I don't think so. She may have left the church but that doesn't make her an exmo. A exmo in my definition is someone who actively fights against the LDS church. Others have just left.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world.

According to wikipedia:

The single reached #1 on three different radio formats in Canada, and became a multi-format Top 10 hit in the United States and internationally. It won a BMI award and two Juno Awards in Canada, for Song of the Year and Producer of the Year. In 2000, the song peaked at #1 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 Chart, #14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #30 on the UK singles chart.

That song was everywhere in 2000.

As for the others, whatever happened to "if you're not with me, you're against me"?

I must hang my head in shame and admit I didn't know who she was. I looked her up, and yeah, I'd vote for her.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

He's the guy that got the whole anti/ex-Mormon movement going.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

I beg to differ. If it weren't for Joseph Smith and his duplicitous nature, this board would not exist

Don't underestimate the ability of people like yourself to find others to deem duplicitous and to belly-ache about and blame for your own miserable condition. If Joseph hadn't come along, you would have found someone upon which to heap your bile. Such is your CHOSEN nature.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

A "genuine exmo?"

Ex- means formerly.

As in ex-wife. Ex-president. Expatriate. Ex-Catholic.

You don't have to be actively fighting your former state to be removed from it as a descriptor.

whyme is stuck on "anti." Can't think beyond that. Also completely out of the pop culture loop.

Uh, oh! Hilarious "med" joke alert! It's getting a little too crazy on here!

Congratulations on somehow managing to actually lower the bar after my horribly lame attempt at humor.

One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

Which is yet another testament to generally pathetic taste in music. I don't say that simply because I disagree with Tal's views on my religion, but because I really can't stand a lot of that pop trash. And the lyrics were so terrible it makes my head hurt.

Cleopatra, Joan of Arc or Aphrodite?

I was going to vote for Katherine Heigl, just because I didn't previously know that she's an exmo... then I thought about some of the HORRIBLE films she's been in... then I read this quote from her:

"I still love the theology of the Mormon religion and I think it is a wonderful way to grow up. But I think any real commitment to religion takes time, effort and energy. I just got really lazy and it's hard to get yourself up on a Sunday morning."

So she's just an exmo out of laziness... how lame.

So instead I voted for Paul Walker. I'm in a competition with a friend of mine to see who will have the most "shredded" abs by summer and Walker's a perfect example of what I'm shooting for (at least in this pic):

P.S. I'm not gay.

P.P.S. But I support gay rights.
