when believers want to give their claims more weight, they dress these claims up in scientific terms. When believers want to belittle atheism or secular humanism, they call it a "religion". -Beastie

Boyd K. Packer has done more against HIS church than any "anti" could do.
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco - To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
A group of 60,000 +/- Ms, is little different than a group of 60,000 sales people or whatevers. Goods, bads & indifferents make up any collection of individuals.
As for LDS Mission-Callings, i think there should be more inspiration demoed in the whole process/project. I.E. each candidate should be psyche-tested to determine THEIR suitability to the challenge. That "morality" seems the only criteria, leaves the rest of the ice-berg burried to emerge later to be, too often, counter productive to the individual and the group project. As usual, LDS policies and practices do not work as well as intended cuz the R&D Department is hobbled by the Theology Dept stuck on the Tower of Babble. IMSCO, warm regards, Roger

Only according to antis.
"Surely he knows that DCP, The Nehor, Lamanite, and other key apologists..." -Scratch clarifying my status in apologetics "I admit it; I'm a petty, petty man." -Some Schmo

I become more and more certain that if one well-declared anti said "the snow is white" there would rise a lot of apologist shouting "he/she is a satan's minion - we don't teach it - it was only private opinion".
