That is what really bothered me. I link to the threat, which is there at the time I link it, and then hours later it disappears. I never posted the threat originally, either. Only later, after I found someone was trying to make me look the idiot for linking to a non-existent threat, did I start the new thread. Again, who was that?

What is that all about, LOAP? Makes me look a bit like a liar, doesn't it? People go to that thread and see no editing at all. That is really unbelievable to me.

But, again, you try to change the story around. Lamanites' threat wasn't as bad as the threats on here, so........la di da.

If not a big deal, then why would someone try to make it disappear?

I am completely unaware of any way to edit a message without a note being added to a post saying "edited by" at such and such a time. It doesn't even give a little grace period as this board does.

Mods don't need to edit anything. Personal scraps, accusations, gossip like this belong in a tabloid. But in many ways this message board is very tabloid. No need to edit out the juciest bits, then!

Only to protect myself: I have taken the liberty to send my brother, who works for the FBI in Salt Lake City, all correspondence between us, off and on the board. He now has all of it. He also has your blog and now knows who you are.

Hilarious. This board is pathetic. I've heard it said that if you mess with the bull you get the horns. However, I do not agree with the bull, I don't think Lamanite ought to run his mouth this way. I think his best option, given the deliberate cage-rattling this site so often demonstrates, is to leave the board forthwith on his own. Honestly he'll be the better for it. I know I'll be. I do appreciate all of the folks here who know how to carry on good conversation. My only advice is directed to those people because they are the only ones capable of understanding. My advice to you is to discourage the rattier participants when they act like asses. It will greatly help the board. You'll lose less people that way. So, take care, everyone.

My pride makes this difficult to do, especially since I don't want it to seem like I'm reacting to Gramps' threat of Government retaliation. In all actuality it's my religion that prescribes apologies and sincere repentance.

To those whom I've frightened; I'm deeply sorry. I'm not that person anymore. To those who've perceived a threat of violence I'm sorry, my mouth moves faster than my good sense.

I am a happy family man now with a decent living. I love and serve those around me. But today I allowed myself to lose track of who and what I stand for.
