Alrighty then.

I find that when you discard religion, most things make very good sense.

But how? Why are we here? What keeps us moving, thinking, acting? where does the energy come from? How can light have a wave partical suality about it? Is that logical? How can electrons be a wave and a partical similtaniously?

I understand that religion in terms of Man's view of what is concerning God etc is a bit odd and contradictary. However, In my opinion God is far more complex than we can ever comprehend far more illogical. So why should a religion that tries to bring us close to that God be logical?

If you have nothing to worry about and it doesn't really matter, why not be an atheist?

If you beleve that God created the universe, is there anything "illogical" about the design of the universe? Are all the laws of physics "illogical"? If God was illogical, then you'd agree that there's no logical order in the universe?

You're confusing "it doesn't make sense to me" with "it's not logical." Big difference.

I understand that religion in terms of Man's view of what is concerning God etc is a bit odd and contradictary. However, In my opinion God is far more complex than we can ever comprehend far more illogical. So why should a religion that tries to bring us close to that God be logical?

So, really, you're saying that religion helps you make sense of things you couldn't before understand. Fair enough.

My point is more that, God to himself would be comprehendable and to some degree the universe will be logical however to us it is all very illogical and incomprehendable.

We aren't all that great a species. We may have knowledge. But how much knowledge? Some day we will gain ultimate knowledge and then everything will make sense and be logical and the power we can have will be God like. But I think it's gonna be a big bit harder than we all hope.

I am saying Ohhh my goodness how frustrating are you people.

Is abstract mathematics comprehendable? Does it follow any form of logic at your level of understanding?????????????? God would find logical things that we may not. And we may not find God logical, goodness half the time I don't even find myself logical. But God will find humans logical because he has an infinate scope of view for everything is created by him even that a bajillion million infinite miles beyond our learning.

I'd really, really like to see the other half of the time when you do find yourself logical.

As Dr. Viktor Frankl said (more or less), it sure does help to have beliefs.

Half was an exaggeration. Besides what are you trying to say?
