You've obviously misunderstood my intention, which was not to prevent a billion Muslims from finding out about LDS vicarious baptisms, but to encourage the prevention of a single Muslim extremist from finding out about LDS vicarious baptisms for Muslims as a result of this thread.
Let the Muslims find out. The gospel of salvation for the dead must be taught to all the world. Preach it on the housetops. Preach it on the message boards. Preach it in the face of the terrorists! We are not afraid of the terrorists! Jesus Christ is our God and is the Messiah of the Jews. Let the terrorists know that, and let them try and attack us. Our God will wipe them out just as it is told in the scriptures. The prophecies must be fulfilled.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will baptize for the dead including Muslims. And, if for some reason, the Church falls short of that responsibility, it will all take place during the thousand years when Christ personally runs his church. All dead Muslims will be baptized by proxy in LDS temples. That is the law of the gospel. Only cowards will try and say otherwise.

LOL!
It's a laugh riot, I tell ya!
Yes, it may well be that innocent lives are in Shades's hands. Radical Muslims are rapaciously murderous in light of the slightest alleged provocation.
Why fan the flames?

Oh, Gawd. My favorite part is when Mormon missionaries are beheaded by Muslim fanatics. I want to be a part of that.
Too bad DCP let the cat out of the bag. Some estimates suggest 10% of Muslims tend radical. That may be high, but at least tens of millions. The Church builds temples throughout the world. One of the three great missions of the LDS church is to redeem the dead. The church has the largest genealogical library in the world. LDS missionaries teach the concept. It is mentioned on LDS.org. It is part of the LDS canon. Boths Jews and Catholics have publicly objected to the practice as it relates to them. Radical Islam had the intelligence and ability to take down the World Trade Center. And yet, radical Islam is going to find out about proxy baptisms for the dead on Shade's board. Now that is funny!
As this thread breaks no board rules and the topic being discussed has been (and is being) discussed on other forums with much greater readership, then I cannot see how the thread can rightfully be deleted.
That being said, I am making the choice to remove my own posts on the topic.

KA
Are you afraid of Islamic nuts? I think you are. If not, I apologize.

At this point, you're obviously and intentionally misreading my post. I happen to know that because I've already corrected your misapprehension in my prior post.
One suggestion would be that you repeat, for a third time, your inapt guffaw.
I will post a rejoinder on your behalf: "So funny. Radical Muslims are now going to know about vicarious LDS baptisms for dead Muslims because of Shades board. Ha ha! So funny."
I haven't come across a single shred of evidence that any Muslim has had vicarious temple work done for him or her.
Although I wondered before, I honestly believe now that it hasn't happened at all. If it had, then I'm now positive that we would've heard about it by this point.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"
The cat of death! Millions are now going to die because you released the cat of death. Look at what you have done! You've wrecked the church. You've spoiled the whole thing. The three fold mission of the church is ruined because of you. It's all on your head. Surely it's prophesied in the D&C somewhere.
Let us weep. We are going down to the terrestrial world.
In DCP's defense, I'd note that given his chosen profession it would be a bit on the ridiculous side to expect him to skewer Islam and publically begin denouncing any and all of Islam's backwards ways.
Beyond that, you know, Islam has been around for a long time. Clearly, it's problematic on many levels and while American life is problematic on many levels also, Islamic life is more problematic on more levels. But, how well has it ever worked in human history to fix a society's problems, espcially a foreign societies problems, by ridiculing it and vocally denouncing it from the outside? I really don't see how anything can be gained by DCP turning around and becoming Kevin Graham. That's not to say that we don't need to keep things in check with the Kevin Graham's out there. But anyway, what's probably the case, is that if Islam is going to modernize, we should feel lucky to have the DCPs out there who are willing to understand their situation thoroughly, on their terms, in their language. I would bet all my assets that DCPs Islamic work, by however small the amount, has decreased the violence of Islam and increased its modernization by a greater amount than the work being done by Kevin or Paul O. -- not to say I don't respect their opinions or understand where they are coming from.
Now, it just wouldn't be right if I didn't close this post by noting that given DCP's tremendous expertise in diplomacy, in his ability to find grace with leaders and religious figureheads of the most anti-American culture on the planet, that his equally if not more time-consuming "polemics" against critics is a very conscious decision on his part.
Contrast DCP with the current leadership of Shields. It doesn't take much to see that the Shields guys may likely suffer a great deal in the area of social interaction in general, particularily, in interacting with idiots unfamiliar with the dominant computer and telecommunications architectures of the period between 1975 and 1990. It may be that to a certain extent "they know not what they do". But DCP on the other hand, is not only a charismatic social butterfly, but an international diplomat, his war against the critics is a calculated one, and one that he will be disclosing one day at the judgement bar.
One wonders if he has ever considered the good he could do by interacting with critics the way he interacts with representatives of Islam, or what would happen if he were to interact with Islam the way he interacts with critics.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
You're mistaken, Gadianton, to imagine that this little pond here, and its strange goings-on -- as exemplified by Joey, Some Schmo, Polygamy Porter, Mercury, Scratch, solomarineris, and the like -- exhausts the world of "critics" or my interactions with critics.
I get along just fine with Margaret Toscano and Dan Vogel and Richard Abanes and Dennis Wright and many other critics of Mormonism and the Church. Of course, they're civil, decent people. That makes a big difference.
