I seem to remember something about wishing/hoping he had a shotgun when Scratch entered his yard so he could take care of him (or something like that), but it was clearly an idiotic attempt at humor or irony or something equally demented. I didn't take it seriously at all, just like I don't take any threats made on this board seriously from any poster.
It's like Merc apparently threatening dart with a bullet in the head. The only ones who might take it seriously are those who want to in order to make some ridiculous point.
I'm as critical of DCP as anyone, but to pretend he was making a serious physical threat toward Scratch is willfully being out of touch with reality (or just saying it for effect).

Oh, I completely agree. I remember the "bit". It was something that DCP stated about noticing his "malevolent stalker" outside his house behind a garbage can, or something like that, and needing a shotgun.
It was just kind of a stupid thing done in fun, but I would like to find the post, just to end all of the back and forth.
For anyone to actually consider it serious is beyond ludicrous.

If MDB is such an "insignificant" board, then why are you worried one way or the other about who, from your board, posts here? And why is one of the Mods from your board threatening to arbitrarily ban people who choose to participate here?(again)
Notice the "again" in parenthesis. This is NOT the first time the MAD'ites have banned posters for merely participating on Shades' board.

Well, because they obviously do consider this board a legitimate threat, contrary to their attempts to marginalize its importance.
As with all apologetics, it's not the weight of the argument that is supposed to have an effect, but the repetition of the argument. They believe that if they say the same ludicrous crap over and over again, some people might actually start to believe it. It worked for their testimonies, after all.

Peterson has to be one of these most insecure and conceited blovials I have ever witnessed. He simply can not get enough of himself.
He really hasn't left this board, he just pouts and post from the other board. He spends, it seems as much time responding to posts here on the other board.
It now seems he sees this place as alive and well without him and he had really believed this board would not live on without him. What's worse for him, all those posters from the other board came over or stayed here. So in his typical arrogance, he's telling them all to leave as well. I mean if the star quarterback takes his ball and goes home, you'ld think everyone else would quot playing! That's what he wanted and he's having one of those jealous fits becuase the game went right on without him or his ball!!
This is pure insecurity generated in part from a lack of productive professional life. Nobody wants to attend classes he supposedly teaches so he must seek his needed addoration and attention here and at the other board. Continuing to let everyone know about his lunches and free meal firesides!
And he's back to his condescending and arrogant attitude in post over there with those who may conclude different than he, knowing the mods take care of anyone who questions him. Then he berates posters here from the protection of fellow church appointees there! Sorry, that's nothing more than being a coward and an insecure jackass!

It was not a direct threat. He said something to the effect of, "The thought of Scratch makes me wish my assault rifle wasn't locked up at my neighbor's house."
