The most important thing to remember after a night of drinking is to drink a lot of water before you go to bed. I've never woken up with a hangover the times I've remembered to drink plenty of water the night before

That's good advice, I'll remember that.

Yesterday, being the sabbath, I didn't have a single drink. I need to give my body a rest. It would be well if I went several days without sipping anything that could potentially harm the liver.

I like this new sense of freedom of being able to drink whatever I want without a religion dictating to me what I can and can't do. I have to get used to all this freedom. It's intoxicating!

Have you thought about why you're letting the changes have that much control over your life?

Paul, from what in life do you derive satisfaction, apart from:

1) Jack Daniels

2) Masturbation/orgasm

3) Women swooning when you fix their air conditioning

Inquiring minds want to know.

How do I simply stop it from having control? It is what it is. These things take time to learn how to manage.

But Jersey, you couldn't possibly understand. You've never been a Mormon. You don't know what it's like.

Those things you listed above pale in comparison to feeling the love of God filling my mind and breast. I get my satisfaction when I feel the love of God but it comes and goes so fast and most of the time it's gone.

I felt it this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I love that overwhelming feeling of joy and peace that makes all pain and care simply disappear. It's a love that is universal and has every atom of the universe in its perfect sight. Do you know what I'm talking about?

You live. You breath. You am. You anesthestize yourself.

Is that living?

Jersey Girl,

Yes, I'm living.

Hey, I just pulled an old book off my shelf and need to read it again. It's one of the best books in the whole world:

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living
(Dale Carnegie)

You have to know that I'm giving you a hard time because I care that you're okay.

Put the book down, go outside and take a walk.

Psst...Get involved in something that makes you freely give to others. Do you play a musical instrument? If so, which one?
