This nonsense about how people only respond to me in such ways because I initiated hostilities is a myth.

And now we see, yet again, why people level this assertion at you. You see, Kevin? This is why you invite the retaliation you receive.

To be fair he took remedial Poly Sci 101 Kev, not Logic. Still having trouble with that pesky political spectrum though.

Just for you Loran.

Good, this means I'll now get my own Will style dogpile thread, in which all members of the posse can contribute.

Do your worst, as its only a matter of time before you finally trip over your own shoelaces. You talk far, far too much, Kevin, but the vast majority of it is, as many can plainly see, despite its public nature, primarily for your own consumption.

Is that really true? Let's take a look at some samples of your first 10 or so posts as "Droopy":

Droopy #2 wrote:I should also have pointed out the obvious-and classic-incipient totalitarian mindset of the author. That which we have come to call "Liberalism" is, when the gloves come off, anything but.

There is an unpardonable sin, and you have just committed it.

I'm thinking that it's fair to say that this is a representative sampling of your posting, Droopy. So, the "periodically" and "now and then" in your post seem way off the mark.

What is this supposed to prove, Dr. Zin? A substantial portion of these aren't even ad hominems of any kind. I've been here since this board's inception, at ZLMB before that, and at MAD almost since it came online. What would be even more interesting are the hundreds of serious, intellectual substantive threads I've started in those years that were flung headlong of the tracks and into oblivion by intellectual poseurs such as yourself and Mr. Graham who have rarely if ever had any intention of serious analysis and discussion.

The Trailerpark has always seemed a bit overloaded with this type of interlocutor, but, or course, I'm sure that's just my own self delusion again.

And that is what's so incredible. I do speak far, far too much, which means my enemies have plenty arguments for them to try refuting.

But they don't.

Ever.

Because they're not really interested in truth.

If I were to "trip over" myself or make some monumental mistake from speaking too much, one would think it would have happened by now. But it has been a half decade since my formal apostasy, and all I have done since is scare them away. Every once in a while Dan will get excited when he thinks I made a big mistake, and he'll start to pound on it to discredit me. (This, despite his regular insistence that he refuses to discuss anything with me) But then he ends up abandoning the debate quickly after I show his argument is flawed. Just look what happened last week at MAD. He got all excited because he thought his buddy's email would "set the record straight" and prove me wrong in some way. When that backfired, I was banned from the thread.

My point, Droopy, is that these "hundreds of serious, intellectual substantive threads" don't exist. That's not what you do. If there are so many of them, how about you point us to 5 or 6 of them?

I'm sure that's just my own self delusion again.

If it's not a delusion, then you can post links to the threads.

Um, no. There will be no articles about Droopy at my blog. Besides, Doctor Scratch already did a post about Droopy at his blog. I thought the dogpile would never end!

But if Kevin wants to take up my old invitation to do a guest-post or two for me on a non-Droopy subject, he's welcome to. I've been pretty negligent of blogging as of late and could always use some more content.

I admit, this was really, really bad. So vile, so filthy, so mean and nasty is this wretched stream of blasphemous personal invective, that I will forthwith submit to public self criticism under the hands of commissar Scratch himself.

I will admit my counterrevolutionary tendencies...

Jack, for what it's worth, I never said or implied I was planning to write an blog post about Droopy.

What the hell kind of blog post could that be anyway? LOL!

Droopy could only hope to be that important. I know the idea got him excited.
