I wonder what Brigham Young might have said about the little black slave in Facsimile No. 3 regarding his worthiness to hold divine priesthood which was mentioned in Facsimile No. 2, wherein the god seated is approached by a snake with a 15" penis. Joseph Smith through Mormon inspiration (unHoly Ghost) called the mighty god of Egypt in Facsimile No. 3, a "slave". And I suppose Brigham Young would have tried to kill the slave/god on the spot had he tried to marry one of the fair daughters of the Utah community.

I figured it all out. Joseph Smith and his companions were out to do something more impressive than the Reformation. They called their work, "The Restoration", which is a nothing but lies spun in a web of spiders. They did it for their own glory. They did it together in an effort to outdo the pope. It was a masterful plan with lasting results. But Mormonism is a racist religion and was alltogether born out of lies and deceit.

Your mental stability is approaching that of Derrick Evanson. Do you realize that, Paul?

Droopy,

Knowing what you know now do you think you could have enjoyed gospel converstions with President Brigham Young assuming you could get in a time machine and go back to chat with the old chap?

You could get in your time machine and go back and tell Brigham Young the truth about racism. Are you up to that? How fast do you think he might excommunicate you from old Mormonism and throw you out of the valley? But no need to fear. You have new Mormonism and it's from the same old cloth spun by spiders like Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery who loved to invent lies for their own glory. Yes, Mormonism is one big spider web -- full of prey.

Dr. Droopy,

It's good of you to be concerned for my mental health, but alas, I wonder if you are qualified to make such judgments. What are your credentials, good sir?

And, if you will tell me the name of the king written in the writing of Facsimile No. 3, I will give you 6 ontis. And, if you can tell me why Joseph Smith called one of the mighty gods of Egypt a slave, I will ask Brigham Young to share 6 of his wives with you in the afterlife. But, if you prefer boys we can make another arrangement.

Except that the LDS church does not teach this. Now if someone has such an opinion, Just Me could have raised her hand and made a comment. Nothing wrong in that. People have all sorts of opinions. One can not muzzle people but one can challenge them.

People are raised to believe many things. However, I have never heard anyone make such comments in church. And if they did, they would have been challenged by other members. Here we have a case of a person making a comment or teaching something, and then suddenly an entire church is condemned. Amazing just amazing.

You can't make this s*** up. Srsly. This isn't the first time I've heard stories similar to this...SWK anyone?

But, yeah, she went on about "Spanish speaking countries" being Lamanites and blossoming like the rose because they are accepting the gospel. Basically, Mexicans and Argentinians and such are all Lamanites.

And then the lovely story about the family with 9 children where each kid was lighter than the last after joining the church. Oh, and they lovingly called the youngest (whitest) child their "little Nephite."

And of course you sat there with your butt sitting on your hands, relishing the moment that you can come on the board to post a thread about it all. When in fact, you would have been much better served raising your hand, making a comment etc. By sitting on your hands, and saying nothing to her, I tend to doubt your story. Or you are somewhat shy to raise your hand.

It's hard for me to imagine that some members are spending this Sunday having felt somehow spiritually fulfilled by these stories.

Well, I am sorry to inform you that many women were very touched by the discussion about "Lamanites." One sister has a son on a mission to the "Lamanites" in Argentina and started crying. Their were tears in several eyes over the story.

Yeah.

Oh, and the Mexicans. They talked about the Mexicans and how they are so sweet and join the church and come in jeans and then you see them "blossom" and turn into....well, suited white collared Mormons.

So, yeah, robbing people of their culture and heritage is very, very spiritual and touching.[/quote]

And you said nothing but had a smile on your face, thinking what a great thread this will all make. So a bunch of women got together and talked about how mexicans become white collared Mormons. And you sat there and watched tears in the eyes of several people as they heard such things. Now come on Just Me, you must think that I am stupid. Something is missing in your story. So far, I see nothing in your posts that would bring a tear to my eye from such stories. I may be thinking of an IQ problem but not much else.
