You clearly have no conception regarding the difference between principled dissent, and telling the truth about something, and "dogmatism." In my experience, there is nothing so dogmatic as the gay rights movement of the last 30 - 40 years, especially in its AIDS and post-AIDS phases.

Oh, there's dogmatism on both sides. I respect principled dissent and truth-telling, and well-reasoned opinions, even those I totally disagree with. As far as this discussion about homosexuality, I haven't seen that from the socially conservative side.

Couple of questions....
1. Since HIV transmission between and to "Lesbians" is so low, does that mean they are the chosen ones?

I admit that I have changed my opinion about the rights of gay people, including the right to marry. I didn't give it a lot of thought because I knew the prophets' position, and I accepted it. When I finally decided to think through my own position, I realized that the reasons given by conservatives and religious groups weren't good enough, so I changed my position.

I have no problem with people who oppose gay rights on moral or religious grounds, but I don't have patience for those who repeat stale stereotypes and condemnation. That doesn't count as reason or logic.
